40 Years of Catholic Charismatic Renewal
We will be celebrating this important anniversary with a Mass in the Old Chapel at Avila on 20th June 2007.
All are welcome especiually all those who have participated in our Prayer Meeting through the years.

Thirty Two years young!
The Prayer group celebrated 32 years in existance on the 8th September 2004.

Fr Tom Curran was home and was the the principal celebrant. He was instrumental in the founding of the prayer group and this will be a joyful evening.
Fr Willie Moran and Fr Michael McGoldrick, members of the Core Group through the years, concelebrated with him.
Old and new Friends re-membered in joy and thanked the Father for his faithfulness.

Mail List
A member of the Avila prayer group acts as Moderator for the CINCHAR Catholic Charismatic Mail List as part of the outreach of the weekly prayer meeting. The intentions of members of this mail list are prayed for at each weekly meeting.

The Avila Charismatic Prayer Meeting is a portion of the Body of Christ, chosen by God, and called by Him to be a people of praise and intercession; focused on His Word in Scripture, and providing an environment where the mature seeking and excercising of the Charismatic Gifts of the Holy Spirit, is both encouraged and promoted to the glory of Our Heavenly Father, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

      This Promise is for you; for you who want somthing more; for you who know that you have a a thirst that has not been satisified.

      For all people, there is a Promise, a Promise made by our God, by the One who made you.

  • The Avila Charismatic Prayer Meeting meets on Wednesday Evenings at 8.00pm at Avila, Morehampton Road, Dublin 2, Ireland.

    Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament precedes the meeting from 7.25pm to 7.55pm each Wednesday.
